Luke 4:18 records Jesus' words as He fulfills prophesy. One of the most startling words were that he was to bring Good News to the poor and proclaim that captives will be released. Yes, the blind will see and the oppressed will be set free!

The Church isn't our four standing walls and ceiling. No, we are the Church. Those who call themselves believers and daily submit to the leading and authority of Jesus Christ are the Church.

As the church body, we strive to be the church in the community. Part of the community is brethren who are incarcerated and in prison.

These often forgotten and neglected members of church need support and encouragement; we aim to equip, encourage, and exhort our brothers and sisters behind bars.
